We reclaim somewhere around 99.936% of the copper wire we use in our work. Most of it is from the scraps left over from air conditioner installations and requires careful removal from the plastic casing surrounding it. It's a time-consuming and slightly dangerous process that requires one's full attention (since cutting the plastic can be tricky), but there's also a zen-like stillness to the process. We have a few pictures of what the process looks like in our PhotoBucket albums if you're curious.
